250 rushing yards and the associated TOP combined with zero turnovers and it’s a win. One turnover, it’s a toss up. Any more turnovers and we’re blown out of the water.

Sept. 27, 2014 against Illinois (458 yards rushing). Rushing performance fell off a cliff after that season and hasn't come close to returning since.

LOL

When one of the top 5 best Husker running backs of all time was a senior and rushed for over 1800 yards that season...

I tried searching but couldn't find any results.  I would be surprised if a Husker team has ever lost when rushing for 300.

Can I remind you of 2001 in Boulder?
Lol, forgot we rushed for that many.  354 yards but gave up 380 and had 4 turnovers.

With the new running clock rules, I doubt there will ever be another game with over 700 combined rushing yards.  To the topic at hand, if we rush for 300 and if we have a clean game, we should win.  Lot of ifs though

It's more about first downs and time of possession than it is yards.  To beat Colorado we'll need to keep their NFL QB and WRs on the sidelines as long as possible.

Nebraska rushed for nearly 400 (381) against Missouri in 1978...and lost

306 against Miami in the 1984 Orange Bowl...lost

302 against Texas in 2002....lost

314 against Oklahoma in 1980...l

304 against Michigan in the 1986 Fiesta bowl...l
