HOW THE %$#K IS MIAMI RANKED AHEAD OF US???

Until we beat somebody of importance we should not be highly ranked. What sunbelt team is going to go to a major bowl.

If we string together several victories over our Big 12 brethern, the rankings will reflect where we should be rated. We have not earned a spot in the top 25 yet. That comes with VICTORIES over legitimate football programs. Start the season OCT 8 and keep on going. The proof needs to be on the field, not on whining about polls based on losing to the only good team we played or how other teams have played.

It's simple...We've shown that we can beat the Sun Belt...whoo hoo <_<

The Huskers will not get any respect until they beat a good team.

 
Why would anyone think Nebraska deserves to be ranked highly right now? We've played ONE team, and LOST. Sure we outplayed them, but the final score is what matters and we couldn't get it done.

Let's take care of Missouri before we ask for anyone's respect.

 
Because we are the "rebels" and the pollsters are "Darth Vader"...

Really, they've beat the hell out of 3 inferior teams, and the one chance we had to legitimize the season to this point, they didn't didn't capitalize on it...

 
We obviously played VT much better than Miami but Miami does have two good wins, granted the FSU-game would've been a loss if their wr's didn't make a few key drops including what should've been the game-winner. They should be a little ahead of us. Don't worry, if Bradford is back to form Miami will be behind us next week.

For what it's worth on the VT game; I've seen VT play nearly 50 games over the past 5 years, and I've never seen them play better than against Miami. I don't think Miami is as bad as VT made them look, but having seen Nebraska play once, I think Nebraska would have beaten Miami on Sat. by probably 2 TDs.

When the Huskers put together some big wins, and even more impressively - finish strong and in the top 10, then we'll be back on the map.

Right now we're barely hanging on.. like Hawaii or Puerto Rico.

Im not gonna read all the responses, because i know no one has stated the real reason why Miami is ranked above us.

VaTech was the ONLY ranked team we went against.

Miami on the other hand played FSU, which was not ranked but managed to beat high ranked BYU, and they beat Georgia Tech which put GT out of the polls and Miami in.

So you see, Miami has actually beaten a ranked team this year, and we have not.

It sucks, yes, but those are the facts.
