We haven't faced anyone near USC's level. They have. Our players will seem smaller and slower, and be less intimidating.

We however haven't faced a defense as mighty as the Black Shirts.

exactly, had we played Nobody State instead of USC we would be 8-2 also

Are you trying to tell me that our 8-2 record and your 7-3 record was THAT different. We've lost to Tech and OU, y'all lost to tu and OSU ( a team we beat and thumped you). I still fail to see why you think your record has been THAT much more competive.

Records don't mean a thing and who beat who or got beat by whom don't matter either. We beat KSU who beat OSU. OSU thumped us. We lost to UT by 2 points but OSU got blown out by UT. Whatever team comes ready to play on Saturday will be the victor.

 
My point is that our schedules are wins are comparable. It's being alluded to that NU has quality wins that A&M doesn't. I'm pointing out that isn't the case.

 
Ag, you have to understand many (not all) Husker fans these days.

An OT win over KU is a great win for NU.

A 21-18 win AT KU is an "ok" win for aTm.

An NU blowout loss AT OSU is not a reason to be upset.

An aTm win AT OSU isn't very impressive.

I'm gonna get roasted for this, but I HATE double standards.

No I understand. :thumbs I'm just saying A&M's and NU's past games have no bearing on this Saturday's game. We (NU fans) found that out early this year when we pretty much felt OSU was a definite win because KSU beat them and we beat KSU. We were wrong.

 
It's cool guys, I appreciate it. I know we're all looking forward to a good game. It's just nice to be posting on a board where differeing opinions are respected...not true (of Aggies anyway) with teams like Tech, Texas, and Baylor.

Your QB also tends to run a lot when he gets pressured and our LBs have done a decent job of hitting and striping those kind of plays. A&M seems to have some good team speed on defense, much like Mizzou and we were able to wear that down so I think we will bring a similar gameplan. One last thing is who has A&M really played/beat this year? Look below for schedule/ results...

Sat, Sep 9 Louisiana-Lafayette W 51-7 - No Suprise

Sat, Sep 16 Army W 28-24 - Squeking by Army at home?

Sat, Sep 23 Louisiana Tech W 45-14 - beat much like we did

Sat, Sep 30 Texas Tech L 27-31 - Loss

Sat, Oct 7 at Kansas W 21-18 - Same team we struggled with a little

Sat, Oct 14 (19) Missouri W 25-19 - Mizzou gave this away by a ton of unforced fumbles

Sat, Oct 21 at Oklahoma State W 34-33 - Okla St. gave this away completely

Sat, Oct 28 at Baylor W 31-21 - Not a bad win

Sat, Nov 4 (18) Oklahoma L 16-17 - Loss

As you can see A&M has just barely snuck by everyone, they are a pretty lucky 8-2 team.
