yep, that sure could be the case now, depends on the kids, but there is a tendency to acentuate the individual more now than ever before. takes a helluva coach to get a team to "play together" now days.

I'm not so sure about that. There have always been primadonna's in every sport. I really don't think it's a whole lot different today.

i think it is far worse today than it was 10 or 20 years ago. too many kids have gotten the Deon Sanders attitude or even worse, the T.O. syndrome right in the college ranks. even at the college level, it can be distracting.
