So, there are many rumors flying around certain boards (they keep getting deleted on TexAgs) that Peterson has been kicked off the OU team. Could be crap, but so many people are saying it's the case that it might be true...

It would not surprise me considering he was "test driving" that Lexus for 3 months from the same dealership Bomar "worked" at. I'll see what I can scrounge up here in Pooper Scooper Land

 
lol. Thanks. I can only do so much, and I heard too late to read any of the threads. This would DEFINITELY spell doom for OU.

 
They would definitely be a sinking ship. I guess that's why you can't spell Titanic without OU... wait, nevermind...

 
Sounds like the news is spreading... Any idea when they would make an announcement to the public??

 
If he's been kicked off the team, they're doing a good job of hiding it. I heard he was at practice Friday :dunno No reports so far coming from the sports radio channel yet either.

I did learn, an insider with OU football said the car dealership deal was the proverbial straw that broke the camels back with regard to Bomar. It seems he had no respect whatsoevever for any of the coaches and if he didn't agree with something in a meeting, he would just get up and walk out. If you remember, Nate Hybl is the OU Quarterbacks coach. His senior year he finished second in the voting for the Heisman Trophy that year. Apparently, Bomar referred to Hybl as "Number 2" i.e. "Hey No. 2, how's it going?" in reference to his number 2 finish in the voting. It obviously didn't set well with the coaching staff.

I thought Hybl was second string behind Jason White until he was hurt?

I stand corrected. Josh Heupel is the QB coach. I always got them two confused :blink: :blink:
