Hurricane Irene ain't no joke

I grew up in New jersey and i have never heard of the casinos in Atlantic City closing, but they are.

Of all the times I have heard it, I think you actually better get the milk and bread from the stores now.

Your talking about tens of millions of people living in a tight area going to be effected.

You know what time it's supposed to hit Washington D.C.? My wife and kid are booked on a flight out of Regan Nat'l at noon. I'm hoping their flight doesn't get scrapped.

noon what day? It hasn't hit yet -- probably starts later on saturday some time. Could be wrong. I'm in the path, and I believe it shouldn't start until saturday night/sunday morning some time.

I'm 15 minutes from NYC, and I get to go to work Saturday 9p to 5a and sunday 9p to 5a....

This should be a blast

Yeah luckily that's one of the things we don't have to worry about here in Nebraska. There was one time, I think it was Hurricane Katrina, where we actually got some rain that came from it. That's how far inland it went.

God bless all you Husker and Non-Husker East Coastians. As a Louisiana resident in Hurricane alley, please head the warnings. And travel safe NUance. I have a thing about cancel flights due to weather-I'm A Okay with 'em.

I'm thinking you may not make it in for at least one if not both shifts. Stay safe.
I don't have that choice. Thank you sir.

Thankfully, I have "The Beast" 94 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 33" tires, 3" of lift, so I should be ok....
