Hurricane Irene ain't no joke

Yeah luckily that's one of the things we don't have to worry about here in Nebraska. There was one time, I think it was Hurricane Katrina, where we actually got some rain that came from it. That's how far inland it went.
The drought of the '20s and '30s was broke when the remains of a hurricane dumped lots of water here.

You know what time it's supposed to hit Washington D.C.? My wife and kid are booked on a flight out of Regan Nat'l at noon. I'm hoping their flight doesn't get scrapped.
Did their flight go as scheduled?
Yup. They took off at noon Saturday from Washington D.C. Regan Airport just as scheduled. And no problems with the connecting flight out of Charlotte, NC.
