Husker Basketball Recruiting Thread

Athletic. Needs to hit the weight room during his off-year. Polish up his skills. This seems like a decent pickup. Would still like to get a juco PF for this year though.

Your right, just a visit.

For some reason my gut says this guy will be a husker and I guess that influenced my previous post.

Wouldn't be surprised, he is from Michigan says he wants to be closer to home. Nebraska is probably one of the best chances to come in and get early mins in the B1G.

Has decent touch from 3 from a few of his videos as well.

Cool. Personally I would be a bit surprised if the NCAA lets him play this year, but if they do that would be helpful as we need a F to backup Ubel.

What criteria would justify that.......?? Just wondering if there is that much leeway without a hardship of some type........

Said he was transferring from Florida to be closer to his family in Michigan. I guess he didn't want to be too close.

There's talk he could apply for a family hardship exception. His reason for leaving Florida was to be closer to his family due to ailing Grandfather. I believe his Grandfather is in Michigan but I am not certain about that. Pitchford is from Michigan. It's a little shorter drive ...but still a long drive. Personally, I don't think he is close enough, but then if no Michigan schools contacted him then maybe he has no choice.

But he is sure to travel to Michigan for at least one game along with the surrounding states. That wasn't going to happen at Florida.

Walter Pitchford was recruited by top schools such as Georgia, Memphis, Indiana, Washington. Glad we got him. Welcome to the team, Walter!

Looks like Diaz will be shortly remembered

This is going to be a totally different team. I'm getting pumped for basketball. This is weird.

Seeing a post player aggressive around the rim will be pretty fun
