Husker fan Gabrielle Union

When Bad Boys 2 trailer was released I saw Gabrielle Union in the trailer and wanted to know who that was so I checked out the actor list and clicked on her link and saw that she was from Omaha. I immediatley wondered if she is a Husker fan....well now I know.

We needed a new celebrity superfan. Rush Limbaugh is too polarizing and Clarence Thomas is under fire. Dan Whitney is a great guy and awesome supporter of the program, but I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the Larry the Cable Guy character as the face people associate with the University of Nebraska.

Wasn't Keanu Reeves spotted wearing Husker gear a few years back after he came here as Will Ferrel's guest for the USC game? Somebody get that guy a sky box.
Larry just acts dumb..I'm pretty sure Keanu is the real deal (brain dead). :dunno

And just in case someone yanks the huskerlocker pic above, here's another version:

Can she do our recruiting for us? Seriously, hire her to go into the house of every 17-year-old, 5 star african-american teenager and we will get every single one.
Hot sees no color. Let me rephrase this:

"Seriously, hire her to go into the house of every 17-year-old, 5 star african-american teenager and we will get every single one."

Actress Gabrielle Union is in the current ESPN magazine that has celebs talking about their favorite teams. Union says her obsession is University of Nebraska football. I knew she was from Omaha but didn't know two of her uncles played for the Huskers: John Pitts and Willie Harper.

Other celebs in the segment: Justin Timberlake for Memphis basketball, Eliza Dushku for the Boston Red Sox, John Legend for Ohio State football, Penny Marshall for pro basketball and Jason Aldean for University of Georgia football.
Good find...thanks for posting

what a great post. thanks mate!

i also think that Larry the Cable Guy has faded big time in recent years. A change would be nice. Plus it just furthers the stereotype that all people from Nebraska act/talk like that.
