Hello! Just looking for support and awareness- maybe you all might know someone who is interested!

 

My name is Lain, I'm an Army wife and volunteer for the Husker Fans Salute to the Troops Weekend which is happening in Lincoln on October 31 - November 2.

 

We are looking for active duty troops, wounded warriors, and military veterans of all ranks who are Husker fans to register for this event we are putting on.

 

The first 100 troopers will receive one night at the Cornhusker hotel, a tour of Memorial stadium, treated to a watch party, and tickets to a brunch on Sunday which includes a special guest speaker, along with other fun things.

 

Please visit the website if anyone is interested or pass the word on if you know of anyone who might be.

The deadline for servicemembers to register for this event is midnight 11OCT08 or when we are full. If you know someone who would like to go and has not registered, please encourage them to do it now before the hotel rooms are all booked.

I am Active Duty, and would love to be there, but unfortunatly I will be in Germany by that time. To bad it wasnt this weekend.

A big THANK YOU to you and all of the people that support us troops. We all appreciate it very much.
