So this sounds like fun.  I'm going to steal it.

It'll be a four-team league.  Drafting ONLY from current Huskers (on the roster at Huskers.com for 2020). Snake draft one player for each of the 22 starting spots.  Then we'll have the board vote on who has the best team.

Who wants in?  First three (plus me) are in the league.  Need to be on HuskerBoard enough to make several picks per day so we're done before football season.   :lol:


 
Just a word of caution:

Your picks - and your team - are open to ridicule by the rest of HuskerBoard.  Not for the faint of heart.   :lol:

I put the four of us in a randomizer in the order we signed up and randomized three times.  Here's what it spit out:

Draft positions will be as follows.  I'll update near the top of each page.

Procedural question: anyone on the current roster is fair game, correct? Including a certain WR who is currently quarantined in Minnesota? And no specialists?

Correct, anyone who is currently on the roster.  And that certain WR is still on the roster.

 
Do players need to be selected  at only their roster position and capped after you draft that spot for instance if Chris Hickman is listed at WR can he be taken at TE

You need to draft to fill the spots on your team listed above.  You can decide for yourself how to best do that.  If there are players that could fit more than one spot, note which spot you are selecting them for.  Defensive line would have a lot of guys that could play either spot.  Probably some linebackers as well.

And if you draft a guy for one spot and then find out later he needs to slide to a different spot based on what is available later, just note that when you draft the next player.  In your example if you drafted Hickman as a TE originally and then decided later that there is a better TE available than what is left at WR, just say you are drafting XXX as a TE and moving Hickman to WR.

I think we will all be able to fill the positions.  I'm sure there will be some walk-ons and guys we really don't know about included.

I didn't do an in-depth study.  But there are 85 scholarship guys and we'll be drafting 88 total players.  Obviously we aren't four deep with scholarship guys at each position but it should be fairly close.  There are over 150 guys on the roster so we should be able to find 88 guys to complete the draft.
