Could be.  But I believe both papers are now owned by the same company so I was assuming they just decided the coordinate some efforts.

OT-ish, but something we've dealt with. An SEC team and an ACC team were subjected to a Big Ten officiating crew on Monday. The result was four players ejected for targeting in the first half, two from each team.

The only way to change the targeting penalty:  Show them that your remote is more powerful than the trial attorneys and insurance companies.  If we turn the channel and ratings drop, the TV money goes away, and so does targeting.
