Husker Games on DVD

The only games that I currently have on DVD are...

The Alamo Bowl

Wake Forrest

Pittsburg

the second half of Missouri "The Catch"

that's about it...

Oh yeah...I do have the Fiesta Bowl on DVD with Tommie Fraizer.

Let me know if anyone has husker games on TAPE

The games I plan on recording on DVD are

USC....OF COURSE

Colorado

and Oklahoma vs Nebraska in the Big Twelve champ.....yeah I'm still dreaming

 
I have the OU game from '01, and the Troy State game from that year. I also have the Colorado game from 92 and 93, and the KU game from 92. I also have a whole bunch of highlight tapes that I am currently transfering to DVD.

yes I would like a copy of every game that is broadcast on TV this year. I will be in Iraq and will miss all of the games this year, and unless the game is played on AFN (Armed Forces Network) the only way that I will be able to watch them is if i get a copy sent over to me.

I sent an email to ESPN about getting copies of aired games because being overseas in the military. Their response was that the only owned the broadcast rights and if I wanted to see any previously air games that I should go to ESPN Classic and check their schedule of any games.

What a bunch of tools, like I am going to have ESPN Classic in Iraq :WTH

I was in the Army for 7 years and was overseas for 4 of them. It sucked when you wanted to watch NE football...but I was lucky though. I got to watch the 95 fiesta bowl, 97 orange bowl, Notre dame game, and both OU ones.

So I won't have any problems recording games and sending them to the military. I'm proud to do that

 
Yeah, it's pretty messed up what ESPN said to husker rob. If I said I would be overseas and they told me that, man I would be pissed. But yeah, I'll be recording games this year too, and would love to help anyone who is deprived of Husker football!

I emailed them back and asked them since they only owned the broadcast rights if they would be willing to provide me and every other soldier in Iraq access to ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN Classic (I didnt ask for ESPN U, because I thought that might be a little to much)

I have not heard back from them yet, its been over a month since I sent it so maybe they are talking it over with the board of Directors

i recently DVD'd that game... BUT during taping my VCR quit about half way into the 2nd Q. I was able to get the 2nd half but to this day i've never seen or heard Barney's half-time interview whining about the no-huddle offense.

anyone know if there's a clip on YouTube or such sites?

dude, they showed every televised game on AFN last season while I was in Iraq. AFN is beeter for football than any other service. No crappy regional coverage... All televised games get shown. I would go back to that hell holl just to watch the games!!!
