The Huskers' line, coached by Mike Cavanaugh, is one of a select group of offensive lines named to the midseason Joe Moore Award Honor Roll, which identifies notable performances by offensive line units in games played through Oct. 8.
Nebraska is joined on the midseason honor roll by three other Big Ten offensive lines including Michigan, Ohio State and Wisconsin.
The Nebraska offensive line has powered the Huskers to a strong start to the 2016 season. Nebraska has allowed a league-low three sacks, and ranks second in the Big Ten in total offense at 472.6 yards per game. The Husker offensive line has also allowed Nebraska to control the clock, averaging nearly 35 minutes of time of possession to rank in the top 10 nationally.
