It was actually GOOD this time right before the tunnel walk. Worked out great. They did it later in the game during a timeout I thought and it was cool. The ribbon boards don't work though for it because the timing get's off. Still good none the less. What did you guys think? :power

 
It ran a little long, 2 minutes + of the Husker Power chant before the Twalk was a little too much; but it was a lot better than not getting to do it at all. :box

 
Haha I agree. I'm glad they got their stuff together for this game so we could do the chant early.

I also agree that it lasted a little too long. I mean it's awesome the first few times, but they kept it going for a really long time and after saying "power" for the 20th time I was ready for the tunnel walk lol.

And although I did like the way they did it during the timeout, I kind of wish the cheerleaders were paying more attention to the game. They tried to keep the chant going while Cody Green was trying to do is checks on the o-line. It was actually kind of amusing, because when the cheerleaders tried to throw up the Huskers sign for the west side of the stadium nobody said anything since the play was about to start. The cheerleaders looked around all confused. :lol:

lol. I didn't even notice they threw up the sign. The two little girls next to me yelled "Husker!" and they were about the only ones.

 
I was impressed with the HP chant to.. the crowd was awesome last night

after that penalty on the punt, the crowd boooing was soo loud. I was up in the press box and it was wild how loud it was.

 
I too thought that the HUSKER POWER chant was too long but I LIKE IT THAT WAY. Thats one of my favorite chants and it was finally done the way its suppose to be done.

The booing on that one penalty was pretty loud. I just hope that the recruits were pretty impressed with the game, the crowd, atmosphere, and the shutout. It felt good to get the shutout too.

 
The wife and I went to the game and it was awesome! I loved how the crowd booed the penalty and then when they replayed it later during the "hits of the game!" the crowd booed again. :lol: It was a B.S. penalty, but that's neither here nor there.

Yep. Bo was on the sidelines talking to the refs and he must have said "pick it up" about ten times. The replay clearly showed the guy catching the ball with our guy almost FOUR YARDS away. Horrible call that when the refs review their game they'll get downgraded on. I think they were swayed by the severity of the hit. That was one of the best special teams hits we've seen in a LONG time.

Yep. Bo was on the sidelines talking to the refs and he must have said "pick it up" about ten times. The replay clearly showed the guy catching the ball with our guy almost FOUR YARDS away. Horrible call that when the refs review their game they'll get downgraded on. I think they were swayed by the severity of the hit. That was one of the best special teams hits we've seen in a LONG time.

How about the kickoff return that our guy blew their guy up on!? Holy hell that was in my corner of the stadium and that hit was LOUD!!! :clap

 
HP may have run a little long... but at least the wave didnt get off the ground very well. Really good game, it was like the good old days... we rolled up a nice score, held them to NOTHING and got the 2ndary in there. A perfect night for the program!

I thought that call was for helmet to helmet? I was in the stadium and couldn't hear it but thats what I was told later. If it was catch interference they TOTALLY blew that one and deserve to get downgraded.

i think that hit on the kickoff return was better than on the punt, guy absoleutly demolished him, he just went completely limp, definately the best hitting game ive noticed this year.
