Husker Punch

We're having a party for the game this weekend and thought I'd make a batch of 'Husker Punch' (with alcohol of course) for anyone that doesn't want beer.

Anyone have a good recipe/mix to use? Hopefully using fruit punch (red), vodka, rum, etc. and I'd just mix it up and put it in a cooler. Just curious if anyone has amounts as opposed to the 'dump some in and taste' method. However if all else fails, good ol' hawaiian punch and vodka will probably work.

If you really want to go all out here is a Jungle Juice recipe I've tried before. It consists of many different alcohols and is a little expensive, but very good and very effective. (Just don't drink too heavily on this during the game or you may not last.)

Jungle Juice Recipe

 

1 L Everclear® alcohol

5.25 L (3 1.75L bottles) vodka

1 bottle peach schnapps

1 pint Bacardi® 151 rum

1 bottle 99 Apples® apple schnapps

10 L Sprite® soda

1 L Sunny Delight® orange juice

1 L triple sec

1.75 L bottle gin

1 bottle DeKuyper® Sour Apple Pucker schnapps

4 bottles Boone's Farm® Strawberry Hill wine

8 L Hawaiian Punch®

2 containers orange juice concentrate

fruit (as much as desired)

 

Use a large container ie. ice chest or similar. Allow the fruit to soak in all the alcohol for about 4 - 12 hours. Add all the juice and let sit overnight. Serve the next day.

Of course, I'm also fond just mixing some cherry kool-aid with vodka, or code red mountain dew with vodka...

You forgot the most important part of the recipe...............................drink plenty and chase parked cars!!!! Holy hell that's a lot of alcohol :hellloooo

Back in the day......... we used to drink this drink someone called "hop skip and get laid" but it is just everclear, red koolaid and Mt dew... All's well drinking this drink until you try to stand up!

We had something similar, called "Skip and Go Naked Punch". Essentially, just PGA, friut, and some flavoring.
