Husker QB - TJ Lateef

So uh, here's the shot play to Barney they were talking about. Man, a 92 yard go ahead TD would've been sick. It's fixable though, and I don't blame him for scrambling when he sees an opening. Hopefully he can sit back and go through progressions more as he settles in though.

He did have to scramble. But it's pretty obvious by the time Barney gets to the 15 that the corner is squatting. There was time to get that throw off.

One play and all but it kind of seems like the same rumblings we've heard about Raiola - he's almost too conservative in throwing some balls, wanting guys to be way more open than they need to be to make a throw.

Ouch. That’s definitely a case of him either seeing the rush instead of seeing through the rush or just being young and not realizing the WR is going to be behind the safety even though he isn’t yet. Gotta let it fly. Sounds like he is learning from mistakes good so he will hit it next time!

Wow... 210 yards huh?
If he does that w a TD run and pass with no turnovers…would be a great debut for a freshman on the road.

I want to see no dumb penalties w the snap count or formations, no turnovers by him, quick and decisive, and calm.
If he passes for 150 and runs for 60, that would be a good showing.

This is just a freshman doing fresh things though. Just like earlier in the year he locks in on his primary and never checks down, then bailes.

Good piece of video to teach him to climb the pocket and be patient. The 10 yards was nice, but the TD could have been a back breaker.

Had not seen this before, that's a killer

Well you all thought I was crazy. 160 yards passing so far. Kid has moxie passes the eye test. Been saying it all year.

I will wait and see, but currently i am leaning towards fire Dom, and if the Raiola's go, we work with what we have. TJ just gives another chance at moving the ball on O that Dylan does not have. I don't know what will happen, but Dom has to go at this point, he's not the only one, but he is definitely one of the ones.
