It's not that we can't...Sometimes it's more funner to misspell/misuse words..just in case Professor Hibbler might be reading this.

And of all the wurds in the English language, tattooo is the one word that SHOULD be misspelled..if nothing other than to reflect the frequency of actual tattooses being mispelled.
