Now that scout.com has successfully managed to shut down my Huskers Tunnel Walk message board, i was curious how many members from that board are currently on this board under a diferent username? I know i recognize Hskrnokc being one person and Pillen being another Husker Tunnel Walk member. Reason i ask is because i am trying to figure out now where the majority of the members are disbursing now that the board is shut down. I know where a few guys have gone through email, but just trying to get an idea of where everyone is.
What can i say, Steve Ryan is a little
and could not handle someone offering free info and doing his own interviews instead of forcing people to pay to follow a team they love. Some people might think i am full of BS and not believe me when i say i do my own interviews, and some might call me a liar and say that i simply just steal the info from scout.com and rivals.com, and that's fine with me. It really doesn't matter to me whether people believe me or not, recruiting is a stressful thing, i will admit it, but it's not that hard. People are under the impression it involves all these rules and regulations and yada yada yada, but its really easy and basically any person with certain knowledge and background can do it. I will admit one thing, i started out thinking i would get the university in trouble if i didn't do a thru background check on how sites like rivals.com and scout.com are allowed to contact a recruit while the average joe has to wait around and get those updates and found out that it's not that hard.
Am i going to tell you how easy it is? No, because i could get the university in trouble if someone misreads something i type out and then guess who gets in trouble? Yes the University. And who do you think the University will go after? Yes me.
It been a intersting week none the less. I get an offer from 2 other husker boards to do recruiting updates for them as a free lance writer (I guess some people are begining to believe in me enough to want my recruiting articles) similiar to what a certain BRR Moderator use to do for Huskerpedia (You should all know who i am talking about, i won't mention his name because i dispise him), on the other hand, a Admin from another board all of a sudden wants to use the video i have stored on my website of Nebraska verbal recruits in addition to recruits we are interested in. The same Admin who began bad mouthing me after i decided to leave his site because he did not want members from his board following me.
Anyways, i guess i am just rambeling since i really don't have a home anymore. Anyways, you guys should get some new smilies. I can give ya the ones i have since i wont be using them anytime soon on a message board. Message boards take to much time and energy to run and even though i have registered a new community on EzBoard and a community on Invision, i probably wont be launching an new message board anytime soon. If anyone wants certain film on a recruit, let me know, i more then likely have it or can get it from another proxy FTP server i belong to that shares recruit videos all over the net, or i can simply just call the recruits head coach and request it (if film does exist).
Here is some Smilies if you want to use them on your board, i have about 200 smilies, some i made and some i didn't. The ones with OU sucks or Bufffs suck or giving the bird are mine
