Husker uniforms

A couple weeks ago I toured Memorial Stadium and saw the Heisman room. Looking at the jerseys of Rodgers - Rozier - Crouch hanging on the wall made me wish we would go back to the uniforms of the Rodgers era, early 1970s. It would be a great tribute to the old days and would just plain look awesome!

The majority of people wouldn't go for it. As much as unis get modernized these days, I don't think we would ever take a step to bring back the old unis.

As long as they keep the current helmet design, I'm not that concerned about the unis. Personally, I don't like the Rodgers' era unis.

I was actually thinking the tear-aways needed to come back. Nothing like ending the game with a collar, one sleeve and half of a number left on a running back.

Personally, I would like to see the names taken off. This needs to be a team, which it has not been for quite awhile. One for all, all for one. This is not the NFL.

I think the names should stay. Not playing as a team had nothing to do with the jerseys, it had everything to do with the past coaching staff and the attitude it presented to the team.

I doubt the players look much at the names anyway. Plus I'd have to memorize the roster. I'm waaaay to lazy for that.

I might be in the minority here. But I would like to see the uni's modernized as much as possible. I like Cal's and Oregon's uni's. I'd love to see that.
