I was unaware that 2016 Neb. volleyball recruit Molly Haggerty officially decommited. In any event, she has commited to Wisconsin. Saw it coming after the middle sister transferred.

Huskers just offered a recruit at the recent camp. I don't know who, but she is a Libero, and hispanic. If anyone else knows who was at the camp, we could connect the dots....

 
Papillion's Lindsay Krause has committed to be a Husker. She delivered the good news to Nebraska coach John Cook on Saturday.

It’s a similar story to that of the Rolfzens, coming from the same city and club team, Premier Volleyball, and the fact that Krause committed on a similar timeline as the Rolfzens, about one month before she’ll begin her freshman year at Omaha Skutt.

Like the Rolfzens, Krause has been a name familiar to those around volleyball in the area due the manner in which she crushes a volleyball. The 6-foot-3 outside hitter had been getting recruiting interest from many of the top programs in the country.

Krause’s commitment came out of the dream camp the Huskers hosted last week, where Larson spoke to some of the elite campers.

Nebraska Volleyball Announces Four Signees

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Nebraska volleyball program and Head Coach John Cook received National Letters of Intent from four highly-touted high school seniors on Wednesday, the first day of the NLI fall signing period.

Three of the signees received high school Under Armour All-America honors last week, and three players rank among the top-25 recruits nationally according to PrepVolleyball.com. Capri Davis, a 6-1 outside hitter from Mansfield, Texas, was an Under Armour All-America first-team honoree, as was Nicklin Hames, a 5-11 setter from Knoxville, Tennessee. Libero Megan Miller, from Alexandria, Indiana, received honorable-mention accolades and is one of the top-ranked libero recruits in the nation. Middle blocker Callie Schwarzenbach – a 6-4 senior at Kearney High School in Kearney, Missouri – is a top-10 recruit nationally.

“This will be a highly-rated class,” Cook said. “All four players have played for high-level club teams. They all fill needs that we will have after our seniors graduate. Each player has the ability to play as a freshman. Most importantly, they all come from great families and will be great fits in our program.”
