The attendance today was 9,585 at the NCAA Women's Regional in Lincoln - the largest crowd so far this year in the NCAA Tournament.

Omaha has done a tremendous job with attendance at their men's regionals as well

Seems at least a little bit of that has to do with local Nebraskans. Well done.

Think Nebraska likes it's college sports all around. Football and Volleyball has had great attendance for a while now, and it seems that whenever Omaha/Lincoln hold a regional/final/whatever the stands are usually full. Then the fact that we've held onto the CWS for 50 some years, definitely would not keep that without a tremendous amount of support. Just think if Nebraska had beat BYU last weekend and had played today. Sold out arena, guarantee.
