Kalenta, a third-team National Junior College Athletic Association All-American, averaged 20.8 points and 10.7 rebounds 3.2 blocks for Vincennes (Ind.) University. The Trailblazers finished 23-7. Kalenta played her freshman year at Broward Junior College in Florida.
She is originally from Minsk, Belarus and has considerable international experience; playing as Hanna Kalenta, she averaged 6.2 points and 6.1 rebounds for Belarus in theUnder 20 European Women’s Championships.
