Its a strategy! You get better draft picks if you lose on purpose!
husker_99 continuing to spill his derp why NU should go 5-7 just so we can fire Bo. I must be a masochist since I keep reading the football forum.
why don't you go f#*k yourself!
But, would that make you happy?? Have the football team lose games, so they have a legit reason to fire the coach?

It's a simple yes or no question...

The fact you would actually celebrate a losing season in the anticipation of Bo being fired makes you an anti fan. Im not saying Im a better fan, Im saying your not a fan. You said you dont hate Bo, okay, maybe not personally. But to bask in the idea of him getting fired means you must hate him being coach.
No. He needs to produce some sort of championship or atleast finish in the Top 10 pretty regularly. no reason why he can't. Bo is simply not producing what he needs to. Meanwhile half this board is too scared of the idea of getting a better coach or atleast get someone who won't hire his friends that have no experience. This program deserves more than people learning on the job.
We havent hired a coach that wasnt learning on the job as a college head coach since Devaney. Think before you speak.
TO was hardly learning on the job. Yes it was TO's first HC job but he had been with the team for some time and running the offense. A little different than Bo.
A few years as a GA and Offensive Coordinator. In fact, probably about the same amount of time as Bo had as an assistant in the college game.

a few years? lol.

1964-1968 (Nebraska offensive assistant)

1969-1972(Nebraska OC)

After TO was HC he was still the OC. So all he needed was a DC. Different than Bo. Bo had more time with different teams at different positions. So if anything he should have been better prepared.

9 years. 5 years. What the f#*k ever. Bo had more experience as a football coach period before getting a head coach job than TO overall, if you wanna get nitpicky over it.

Bottom line is, you say Nebraska is not a training ground-or whatever verbal defication appeared in your post-for head coaches, when in all actuality, the last 4 head coaches, 1 of which is legendary beyond biblical proportions, had ZERO experience as a college head coach. Hence, your notion is false, per usual.

Um Bill Callahan was the head coach of the raiders. So your notion is false.

So what you are saying is that an NFL head coach is not qualified as a College Head Coach?

Depends. But it's pretty obvious that that two are far apart a different type of gig. Experience and/or success as an NFL head coach does not necessarily relate to success in a college job, if at all.

This would be about the 5th or 6th time he's ducked answering the question.
