Huskers announce opening night October 1

I know there will be some upset about the cashless issue.  But, I like it.  It would really speed up serving people.
Count me as part of the group that is upset about cashless.  I hope this is just for tonight, not all season.

1 - It is not safer, COVID does not transmit that way.

2 - I hate having a bunch of small transactions on my debit card since I actually reconcile my bank account every month.

Twitter is not the place to announce it either.  If it weren't for this board, I wouldn't have known in advance & I'm sure there will be others who don't have twitter.  It is something that should be sent by email to the ticket holders email addresses since all the tickets are electronic.

Completely agree on #1. It's so frustrating that this belief keeps coming up.

I love #2.  I hate dealing with cash and don't care about small transactions on my CC.  And...I get cabela's points.  :D

I'm sure they will announce it other places than Twitter.
