Huskers Host Lobos for 2013 Home Opener

Hopefully this come from behind win jump starts the team.. As shown in my post above, our bats aren't there. No excuses for that. The starting pitching has been ok.. not great but ok. The bullpen has been atrocious at times. We needed to win this way. Good game. Now lets get the sweep.

 
I'll take it. Definitely should provide a morale boost for the team. Let's get another one tomorrow.

 
bullpen was good today... I think Roeder has 2 great innings Hop was good too. It was nice to see these guys step up. I secretly hope that Roeder can earn a way into a starting role.. maybe starting some mid week games. From what i saw live today he reminded me of Joba's fire and intensity on the mound. He gets excited and gets the team fired up. He dug a hole but got out of it by getting 2 K's. The bats need to be way more consistent. 1 big inning is cool and ill take it but they need to manufacture runs when you have guys on base early in games.

 
Color me surprised !

Coming back from 0-5 with bats that have been in the freezer is not generally in the script.

Good for them. Hopefully, it restores some confidence.
