Probably no one this one. The one at TD Ameritrade was terrible. I had some of the best seats available and couldn't see a damn thing. Hockey isn't meant to be seen from that far away

Because baseball park? Football stadiums are different. Baseball field fit in Memorial Stadium? 200' homerun fence?

As much as I'd like the Huskers to have a hockey team, it's going to be a bit tough. You've got a pretty good team in UNO, several established programs in the region, and I think recruiting would be difficult unless you had amazing facilities and a top tier coach.

 
I think the biggest issue getting in the way is having to bring in other non-revenue generating sports to offset it due to Title IX

 
"Husker Hockey". I think it has a great ring to it. I'd totally get into that.

I would really like to see that little N on a hockey helmet. Considering the way BIG is trying to brand itself all over the place, I wouldn't be surprised if they created some incentives for schools to get their programs going.

 
go ahead and give me hell, but if the Huskers got a hockey team, they'd still be playing second to my Fighin' Sioux...

 
I don't think the U of N Regents would approve a hockey team for UNL, because it could really hurt the UNO hockey program. The UNO hockey program is the big revenue earner for their sports programs, so I don't see how the Regents would agree to something that would significantly damage UNO.
