Huskers in NFL Mock Drafts

Courtney Osborne. The great mystery? Lot's of talent and potential. This guy just disappeared all of a sudden. I heard some things about nagging back injuries but I always was curious if there was something else to this. Tons of talent lost with this guy leaving though.
I think it was reported that he had concussion issues that prevented him from playing everything but special teams coverage and the occasional snaps in one of our games late last year.

Compton, God bless him, but no way he makes it in the NFL. If I had a dollar for every time the last 2 years he either 1) got outrun or out-athleted in pass coverage or 2) got blown up by a FB, TE, or pulling OL..... Let's just say I'd have a lot more money than I do now.

Reed, most under utilized TE since ... McNeal who was the most under utillized TE since Matt Herian, etc. We've had some brilliant TEs in recent years but it seems they will have a hot season and then are forgotten.

Reed has the speed to play in the right NFL system. I hope he goes.

I agree wt others - Baker's contributions at DT do not justify his move from OT. Wish he had remain an OT - perhaps he would provided more leadership and stability there - maybe fewer offsides penalties - just sayin

Rex - will be a steal regardless of the round - his work ethic, civic citizenship is a plus to any team.

Martin - boy what a wasted 4 years - he could have been a real star - I was at the Ok State game when he laid out that guy on the kick off returned. His career was mismanaged imho

Compton came on strong at the end of the year - too little to late. He was our 'star' catch from Bo's 1st class.

Cotton - same as Reed but wtout the flash. If someone gets Reed or Cotton in the last rounds - steals. Both reliable.

Unless I missed someone not a single Big 10 player is projected in first round of ESPN's mock draft
