Huskers In Spain

Miles declared (jokingly...??) before they left that he expected to blitz one, have two competitive games, and get blitzed by one; are we correct in assuming that the most difficult game (getting blitzed) is the final opponent today? Or have they performed better than expected?

Nebraska won the fourth game 71-65.

Missed layups were big because we missed quite a few apparently

4-0 in Spain better then Miles had predicted and some of these teams were solid.

I say BIG play is more physical but with confidence I say we play a lot better this year

Also how do I get the tweet to show up like you do it Mav? When I posted a tweet it just gave the link but the actual tweet did not come up.

I want to add that we finished games a ton better in Europe then in recent past. They had fun and went undefeated the team took care of business and we should see a fun team to watch. Also yesterday they had 27 offensive rebounds, that is really impressive.

I hope Miles can find 7 or 8 guys.....or 10 who can give 100% every night. This trip might be just what they need to bond and gain confidence. Build on this and make this coming season fun again.

We shot 22% on 3s for the four games. We averaged 11 assists (pretty similar to last year's number) and 22 turnovers.

Obviously there's a long ways to go before the season starts but 22% from deep and a 1-to-2 Assist-to-turnover ratio isn't going to get much done on a team that only has one player taller than 6-8.
