Huskers in the 2017 NFL Draft

I don't get the injury knock on Westy. He missed three games due to injury over his entire career.

He's got hands straight from the Gorilla factory, route running down to a t, and hops like he sprayed flubber on his cleats. If Westy is truly overlooked because of injuries, he's going to be a steal for whoever picks him up. Hell, that'll be the case regardless.

I like Carter a lot, but he had injuries that kept him out of games the past three years. So, if any of the bunch will get tagged with "injury prone", I think it'd be him.
I think a knee injury before his final game that happened in a practice with no contact scares the NFL. I hope he can regain all of his speed and vertical leap.

What I don't understand with you guys, is pre-season we were treated to multiple articles like this, http://www.ketv.com/article/jordan-westerkamp-named-highest-graded-returning-wr-in-nation/7660563

And now because he got banged up enough to miss three games this season, suddenly he is injury prone and not worthy of being drafted? Incredible... The guy is hands down a stud, he'll be draftes lower than he should and have a heck of a career. Patriots would make hay with him all day ala Wes Welker.

My hope is he ends up there and Rex Burkhead joins him off free agency. I'm not a Pats. Fan either, I just think its the best outcome for them both.

Saw Dallas was looking at Rex as a backup to spell Zeke. I'm a Cowboys fan, so that'd be great.

Holy cow, maybe I should become an NFL scout haha... Let's hope Westy ends up there too. Rex Burkhead to sign with Patriots. http://nebraska.247sports.com/Bolt/Burkhead-signs-with-New-England-51773689

Has Gerry going round 3 82nd overall to the Broncos:

82. Denver BroncosNathan Gerry, S, Nebraska

Another safety comes off the board, this time in the form of Nathan Gerry, who posted the No. 2 coverage grade in the nation in 2016, at 90.6. He excels in two-high looks, particularly working downhill and making plays on the ball—both good fits for new Denver head coach Vance Joseph.
