Huskers Land Graduate Transfer DT Darrion Daniels

DT is a position of need..Mick, Davis Twins weren't who we wanted to put there. If Fair qualifies we now have 4 that can play it. Daniels (2), Vaha, Fair. For a 3 man front we were small last year IMO.

I wonder if Vaha will be back next year.

Still would love to get someone who can at least redshirt this year since we'll potentially be very thin after next year. I know Piper is there but still feels precarious.

Agreed - I feel pretty good about this year, we can rotate the Daniels bros for the most part and then slide a Davis down in passing situations. But counting on Piper/Vaha/some true freshman behind Damion the year after that is a little scary.

I think it says a lot about the younger Daniels, he was in position to play a lot and still encouraged his brother to come(from the sounds of it) I have a feeling that Damion will become more of a leader after having his brother around for a year

It would be nice if he could have a SUH like impact on on D line.   Our DB and LBs are getting better - we need help up front.  Hopefully he be a big difference maker.

Feels like that is a lot to ask of a player.
