AFN is not showing the Huskers this weekend, :WTH Didnt they get my memo telling them I was going to be in Iraq and they needed to show all of the games. BASTARDS

They are not even showing it on tape delay during the week.

So I am going to rely on watching sub-par games (USC-ARK) to get the highlights.

what can you do

that sucks man...hopefully they will pick more Husker games as the season progresses.

 
I wonder if someone with video editing skills could put highlights on something like Youtube or Google video that he could see after the game. I would but I don't have the equipment. It wouldn't be live but at least he could see highlights afterwards. I am not sure if Fox puts highlights up on it's website but might also want to check that out. Just a couple of thoughts.

EDIT: Just for the heck of it I emailed Fox to ask if there would be any place you could go for a live video stream of the game and to make sure they will post video highlights after the game. I will let you know what they say when I get a response. Hope that helps.

While it's not much of a consulation, if you check out the USC-Arkansas game at least you can get a feel for how USC is going to do this year.

Actually, given the Booty situation (back injury, starting for the first time), and the new comers to the offensive line, it will be interesting to see how they fare against Arkansas at Arkansas' stadium - and with Arkansas looking for some measure of revenge after last year's drubbing.

I don't expect Arkansas to win, but they could expose some real flaws in USC. Just imagine if they can rattle Booty - will his conficence be shot for NU?

 
Hey Rob, I was in Iraq last year for all of the games besides the bowl games, and if you write the Athletic Department or email them, they will send you all of the games on DVD. I even contacted them after the first few games and they sent me those on DVD as well. No play by play but it's totally worth it, for free!

Last year they had a lot of the games on AFN.

Be safe, when in doubt call EOD.

hopefully something turns out for you, cuz if anyone deserves to see these games it's you guys over there, if wasn't for you guys we wouldn't be having this discussion.(no games to watch...we'd be watching cricket or some bs)
