Before just 5 or 10 years ago, Oregon didn't switch up with flashy jerseys like they do today. Before that, Oregon's jerseys looked pretty bad. I would be curious as to what their record is since they began switching up their uniforms.555-468-47Anybody have the statistics on Oregon's record when wearing alternate uniforms?

It was the ridiculous influx of Nike money, which bought the coaches, the uniforms, and all of their new facilities.Oregon starting making radical changes to their uniforms in 1999. Here are their records since then. You decide. Was it the uniforms or the coaching?
Oregon Ducks
Coach: Mike Bellotti
1999 9-3
2000 10-2
2001 11-1
2002 7-6
2003 8-5
2004 5-6
2005 10-1
2006 7-6
2007 9-4
2008 10-3
Coach Chip Kelly
2009 10-3
2010 12-1
2011 12-2
This. The uniforms definitely played their part, but having literally anything that Nike can dream up at your disposal (which includes the uni's) is pretty much the reason. It was the ridiculous influx of Nike money, which bought the coaches, the uniforms, and all of their new facilities.

Exactly. 2002 was Frank Solich's worst year. How do you not see the connection?1. 1992 was the year just prior to the transition to the 4-3 and emphasis on defensive speed in recruiting.
2. 2002 was Frank Solich's worst year.

I don't care what you say, the loss to OU in 1986 was because of the all Red unis. Had to be, no other explanation exists for what happened that day.1. 1992 was the year just prior to the transition to the 4-3 and emphasis on defensive speed in recruiting.

Other games, maybe the other team was just better or played better that day? Naw...it HAD to be because of the uniforms. :LOLtartar
