Before just 5 or 10 years ago, Oregon didn't switch up with flashy jerseys like they do today. Before that, Oregon's jerseys looked pretty bad. I would be curious as to what their record is since they began switching up their uniforms.

This. The uniforms definitely played their part, but having literally anything that Nike can dream up at your disposal (which includes the uni's) is pretty much the reason.

I don't care what you say, the loss to OU in 1986 was because of the all Red unis. Had to be, no other explanation exists for what happened that day.
