Huskers to Hold Walk-On Tryouts

I always wanted to do this in the 1990s. Felt like I could have had a shot as a Punter. I could kick the ball over them mountains, no doubt. No doubt in my mind.

Yeah, punter would have been my only option. I'm just about quirky enough to be a kicker too, but I don't think a long of 35 yards would make the cut.

It'd be cool to see some diamonds in the rough come through tryouts and make the team. I wonder if they're open to spectators; I kinda doubt it.

Bill LeFleur was in my Freshman English class in Fall of 1994.  He played at Norfolk Catholic (I think) and walked on to the football team.  He ended up being the starting punter his last year or two at NU, and played a few years in the NFL (I think).

I could definitely almost have mostly punted the ball as far as Bill LeFleur.

Has anyone informed wifi and his naturally strong family?  Thinking they could be immediate help to Coach Cav.

I walked on 12 years ago at Nebraska. If you're smart enough to figure out who I am. I will mail you a postcard.

Crap, I meant, I walked onto the field 12 years ago...
