Huskers vs. Baylor in NCAA Tournament

Double-digit seed most likely to reach the Sweet 16: No. 11 Nebraska

My take: The surging Huskers closed the regular season with 11 wins in 14 games to unexpectedly reach the NCAA tournament, but their draw doesn't suggest that hot streak will continue. Baylor closed the season on a tear of its own. And even if Nebraska springs one upset, likely round of 32 opponent Creighton handled the Huskers rather easily during the regular season.

The Baylor fan base isn't all that huge in Texas, and I-35 isn't the easiest drive. Lots of Husker fans down there too. It won't be completely neutral, but I'll bet it's fairly close.

The Nebraska and Creighton men’s basketball games Friday in the NCAA Tournament will be televised on cable network truTV, but not everybody in or around Lincoln with a Time Warner Cable subscription can view the channel.
Nebraska plays Baylor at 11:40 a.m., followed by Creighton’s game against Louisiana at 2:10 p.m.

TruTV is part of the cable company’s standard tier (channels 2 through 81), but it’s among 15 channels in the tier that are digitized and require either a cable box or a digital adapter, according to TWC spokesperson Michael Pedelty.
