Huskers vs. Creighton

I just came from the Creighton message board where I read 95 replies on the NU vs CU game that was viewed by 5,626 people.

I come to this site to see what Husker fans are saying and only 2 replies and 131 views

I thought Husker fans would be interested in this game but I was wrong. Good luck tonight.

Why is this so surprising? Basketball is Creighton's calling card whereas it's pretty well known what Nebraska's bread and butter sport is. Also Creighton is undefeated and ranked 10th in the country right now so naturally as a result even more fans are going to be heading online to read and talk about that.

You give us a top 10 BB team along with no football team and this thread would be many pages long by now.

The fact is, our BB team is struggling and we have had some pretty big news on the football side this week to discuss.

Headed down now, for a few libations beforehand, but I do not in anyway think we can keep it within 4.5 points. It is exciting that Creighton is coming in ranked in the Top 10, and I am sure there will be some electricity in the air, but 4.5 points? Holy Cow. Maybe Vegas knows something I don't. I would love to pull out a V...GBR

 
20 years of watching Neb basketball and I for one can't think of any player that's was a 3pt shooter. I guess Erick pitkowski. Outside of that. We scare no one from the 3pt line. We are not even close to making 3's.

Why is it we can't rebound offensively? Everytime a shot is taken we only have one guy there. There needs to be more.
