Huskers vs Illinois...........Is there even any interest in a thread..?

Ha ha Illini. :lol:

I was dreading all week going to church tomorrow and having a couple of Illinois fans who go there rub it in.

 
Wow.............who saw that coming..........??

Not to take anything away from the Huskers who showed up and played hard (amazing how much better we look when we run and don't waste 25 seconds perimeter passing)..................BUT Illinois had no effort to them.

The crowd was larger than I would have anticipated but there were a lot of Illinois fans there (multiple buses), plus quite a few of the Junior Day visitors and their families were sheperded to seats behind me by Barney.

Looked like they were enjoying the rout.............(actually stunning how small some of these kids are without gear and only being 16-17 years old).................

 
Congrats to the Husker team and Doc for the big win. Whether we think so, they have worked hard in practice. I had high hopes they could play like this all year. Too many injuries to the bigs and a lack of depth has hurt them. I'm glad to see them get this kind of win!
