No.. We had 3 hits in the Game... LA-L is the one that only had 2.... Kline needs to learn to run the bases... he picked up right where he left off last year by getting picked off AGAIN at 1st w/ no outs... next pitch single up the middle.....

 
Game 4 is underway, and Nebraska is down 2-0 after 3 innings.

Cooper started in left field today. He got a hit in his first at bat.

 
He's doing really well today. Hope this means he will just continue to get better as the season progresses.

 
Dang, Huskers couldn't pull out the victory, but at least they didn't take a loss either.

5-5 tie after 10 innings.

 
That's definitely a bummer. I don't this tie will hurt us like the one last year did. But it still sucks.

Nice to see Cooper have a big game. Hopefully that's just a little taste of what's to come.

All in all, I don't think you can be too disappointed in this weekend. Considering no one really knew what to expect this year.

What ever ended up with the protest? Is it still undecided or what happened? I was gone ALL day yesterday and today really haven't been able to see much.. just checking rivals all day for score updates was all i could do... anyone know?

 
I went to all four games, although I admit game 3 was a bit blurry due to the koolaid catching up with me. I must say I am pleasantly surprised by everyone, but the catcher. Maybe it was just the first series /games and he will improve, but his arm was not good this weekend.

Regarding Cooper. This guy is the real deal. He just has one of those swings that ball just pops off the bat. He is truly an athlete and we are lucky to have him.
