Huskers @ Wooden Legacy Tournament

Nice first half lead. This is the first time I've been able to watch them.

When the starters are on the court I'm impressed.

Watson needs to play more under control.

Interesting comments from announcers about White leaving.

Nebraska 40 and Dayton 31 at the half. We are shooting the ball really well and defense has been good, rebounding needs to be better but I am impressed by our effort.

We're letting them make some runs down the stretch... 4 to go, 71-64 good guys with Dayton about to shoot 2.

That was the poorest execution at the end of a game I've ever seen but they won. Ucla will more than likely blow us out but I'm glad to have the chance to play them

Well ... we tried to piss it away but they wouldn't take it. Good thing they were missing three guys.

Morrow had a really great game and so did Glynn. We get stops but we need to finish the stops by rebounding the basketball. McVeigh needs to not inbound the ball ever and should be on the bench when we need to get the ball in.

Great win and it will really boost our resume, but if we rebounded better and didn't allow them to creep back in it with late turnovers, we would have won this by 10+.

Tshimanga is the type of player we have been looking for. (Body size and type)

Hope he can develop into a force.

Nice win against a solid team that has made 3 consecutive NCAA tournament appearances and took the 17th ranked team in the country to the wire in their last game.

this.
We've been missing a big man down low, Leslie Smith was OK, but unfortunately hurt his senior year. Hopefully he can earn more minutes with better play

I thought Gill played well today! Morrow and Watson both played well also. If we are on the bubbe come March this will be a quality win. UCLA and Portland is close at the half.
