I am not excusing the defense but

I thought they had a real good qb who might be playing on sundays somewhere. He made plays out of nothing and put the ball on the money when he had to.

Again I do not want to excuse our defense because believe me I think this is the worst huskers d I have ever seen. Just thought we need to give this qb credit.

Sam Keller needs to stop throwing picks

Their QB is very good.

Also, Keller's interception was a great play by the Ball St. player. 29-37, 1 INT, 3 TD and 438 yards of passing? I'll take, especially when the interception was a phenomenal play by the defense.

Uhmm, no Keller underthrew his receiver. Yes he was covered well, but that INT wouldn't have happened if he hadn't thrown the ball about 8 yards behind where he should have.

But other than that he had an outstanding game... well that and that weird fumbleish thing early in the game. Looked like he was going to fake the pitch but the ball came loose and he caught it (thankfully).

The ball was underthrown, yes, but did you see the play that guy had to make on it to actually catch it? I've never said Keller threw that ball well, however to actually intercept that ball, the corner (or safety, whoever had him) made an outstanding play.

Edit - What I'm saying is that is normally an incomplete pass, not an interception. That guy doesn't make that play every time, or even close to it.

Ball has been playing better and better every year. It's no surprise to me that they did that to NU considering how NU came out on defense.

If he throws the ball 8 yards behind where he did our receiver doesn't have a chance at it.

It was a pretty decent throw and the defender made a terrific play on the ball. I wish our DBs could do that.
