My husband just called me and told me to go to my computer and go to the animal shelter link he sent me. He told me what page to go to also.
The dog he saw was a Dachshund and he asked me if liked him or not and I said "Yes". I fell in love with this dog right away
I told him to look at the door that was by this dog..I told him that there is a white thing on the door that looks like an angel It is on this picture..look at the door and you will see it It was meant for us to get this dog..there is no doubt in my mind. I told him that we need to start thinking of names for him and he told me to start thinking, and I said..no..we both need to think because we are a team and it is his dog too He said, " How about naming him Husker and I said that is a perfect name for him He paid for him over the phone. We can't get him until Tuesday because the animal shelter is going to get him fixed first. We are so happy to get this dog.
I know I am babbling It just feels really good to smile again and save a dog's life
It isn't like I have forgot about our dog that died..I look at his grave every day...my husband put a pillow case around him and buried him in our back yard..it was very hard on both of us. We both are animal lovers and believe in saving animals.
