I figured out my fear...

I get that you're jaded and that's okay. You had expectations, they weren't met. I understand it. We've all been there really. Promised greener pastures and we have yet to jump the hump if you will. My issue comes when those who feel compelled to try and get under the skin of those who still have a smidge of optimism. Some of us are still holding out hope which is also okay to do. Please don't try and piss off the people who still have hope, what good does that do? It's your first day here though so I'll just say welcome. Just take into consideration that we all want things to work out for the better as far as Nebraska is concerned.

Bo is not a guy of bad character. He's just a good ole midwestern hot head. Sometimes to a fault. There's nothing wrong with that. But coming in here and questioning and poking a stick at his character and such is total dooshbaggery. You wanna to that? Go to Tuscaloosa.

LMAO at anyone who thinks any BCS AQ school (aside from Kansas, Indiana, or a school from the AAC) would touch Pelini with a 100' pole. Lots of ADs out there working overtime to land walking P.R. disasters who can't lose fewer than four games per year.
Yeah, that whole Jack Hoffman thing, UCLA player tribute, and Penn State prayer...they just made us look horrible, didn't they?
"I came here to win a national championship and win (presumably conference) championships." That quote sound familiar?

While all the stuff you listed surely just warms your little Husker heart on a cold autumn day, they have nothing to do with whether the current head coach should get a seventh year to prove he's incapable of losing less than four games a season and accepting any personal responsibility for his own failure to do so. Intramurals are on the left, brother
Name one coach that in their first 6 years as a head coach won a championship.

One.

Bob Stoops

But regardless, it's not something a fanbase should overly expect. Im having a really hard time coming up with anyone else.

And by the way, where are these two guys now? And where are their programs? Not sure Oklahoma is really that far ahead of us right now.

How long was Saben at LSU, most likely close.

Bo said exactly what any coach would say. Nothing wrong with it. And I would bet he is working just as hard as Saben, Briles and Meyers to accomplish. Maybe even harder. He needs to learn to delegate duties, and hold those assigned those duties accountable. That is where Bo is wrong. Not a bad guy, most likely not a bad coach, but a very poor manager. Having ragged on him in the past, I have seen improvement in things that are very important to me. This year has been a tough year for Nebraska. Not just the coach. Taylor going down, hurt this team badly, and then then the avalanche of injuries that followed and continue are devastating. This media witch hunt is taking its toll on him I am sure. If all of this is a load of crap, I doubt he will improve in his handling of them, or may make 180 degree turn. I really think he deserves another year. But very outlined requirements to have it. I think that is what we will see.
