I guess we know Crick is going pro....

I don't think anyone needs to have a talk with him. The decision is his. If he wants to earn big bucks and not risk a career ending injury then I certainly won't hold it against him.

That sounds pretty clear cut, as to his intentions. If the NFL has a lockout though, or if that's a real possibility, few juniors will declare.

I think Bo has re-established the bond between players here lost during the BC years. I don't see many kids walking away from NU until they are forced out by graduation. How many former NFL players still say playing in the pros was a letdown after their time at NU?

I think he just meant last time playing Texas, doubt he comes out this year. I'd like o see him come back and take his game to the next level and be better prepared for the NFL but hey if he's projected to go high in the draft I can't blame him for leaving early.

A letdown after cashing checks for millions of dollars? I'll take some disappointment for far less than that... Money talks. These kids would be STUPID to stay in school IF they will go in the first round.

honestly, if going pro is the best choice for Crick then I wish him luck. As fans we shouldn't be so greedy in wanting kids to stay for their senior year. Personally I think in most cases the person should get their degree for free while they can but there have been times like with Bradford where maybe the dude should have jetted.
