Or maybe it's easier to look like the "faster blinker" when your package of plays are all single reads. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited about Luke and Martinez did not have a phenomenal year. But I don't see any evidence the coaches kept playing Martinez out of sheer stubbornness - people just don't want to believe that was our best option.

Exactly.  I hope there are always open competitions each year but I won't be surprised at all if Martinez starts against Purdue in September.

This isn’t happening.  All the brothers do their own thing.  Did you see Luke staring at Huskervision when he made a big play?  It’s intoxicating and he’s not giving it up to go play for some school nobody knows exists.
