I miss the Big XII.

I never go to road games. Never been to one. Never had the interest. But last year, I really thought about going over to Iowa City and the year before, Minneapolis. Even the CCG I was considering. Just because it's the Big 10 and it's new places.
The idea of going to Kinnick is just more appealing than going to Jack Trice, or either of those Kansas stadiums. The only stadium I really wanted to see in the Big XII was Kyle Field. Beyond that, meh. Oklahoma's stadium (lol Gaylord) would be cool to see just from a historical standpoint. It's the place where the Game of the Century went down. But all the big time stadiums in the Big Ten are just more appealing to me. If I get a chance to go to Madison, Ann Arbor, Happy Valley, or Columbus for a game, I'm there.

I always wanted to see Okie State's stadium :dunno

Is scheduling KU as an annual OOC an outlandish proposal?
KU? Really? 95% of the time they do nothing but hurt your chances at a National Championship, not because they are that good, but because they are that bad.

then why is a schedule like this not feasible if they suck so much?(which they do, you will get no argument for me)

crappy directional school

Kansas(in substitute for crappy directional school they can't beat)

Big OOC game

Big Ten team x9

I'm sure both fanbases would like the game to come back and its not like OU that will give you very little scheduling flexibility since OU and a big OOC would be difficult going forward.

Agree...I really didn't have much desire to go to hardly any of the Big XII stadiums. There are a number in the BigTen that I would love to go see.

I agree as well. Outside of A&M, Nebraska, and Oklahoma, there is really nothing intriging or impressive about Big 12 stadiums. Hell, most would stand 2nd to some Texas high school stadiums. Even Texas's is a joke in relativity to that program. And the only thing intriging about OU's is the history involved. Even the small and/or unimpressive stadiums in the Big 10 interest me in some way. We probably had a top 2 or 3 stadium in the Big 12. It's possibly not even top half in the Big 10 depending on who you talk to. That alone says a lot.

IU & PU stadiums are boring.

Illinois' stadium is a dump but it has a charming quality and the fans are good people.

Sparty Stadium is very good. Madison is great(and the most gorgeous college town i've been too)

Beaver Stadium is a large erector set and they cheat by blasting music up until the visitors snap the ball but still worth the trip.

ann arbor is a dump. the trip is worth it for nostalgia alone though. especially if you've seen games on TV from there all your life.

Need to head out west in the next few years. Never been to Kinnick or the TCs.
