I called my uncle who was 93 years old on Christmas Eve and I am so glad I did. I couldn't understand him when he talked to me and I talked to the nurse that was in his room and it wasn't good news. I called his son and left a message. His son called me yesterday and told me his dad had passed away at 6:00 the next morning. We are very close..it is very nice to have 1 member of my family who will talk to me and love me.
Then at 1:00 am. in the morning...we heard our neighbors dogs barking up a storm. I was so exhausted and thought since they are outside dogs, that they were just cold from it raining outside. My hon got up to check and had a flashlight and their dogs were killing a kitten. So after yelling..their son came out and my hon told him what was going on..to make a long story short..the kitten was full of mud..we brought the kitten in our house..he is safe here.
I am exhausted and will post recipes when I feel up to it..need some time.
