I really don't fear Nebraska as a team. They have some nice players on offense and a solid team concept on defense, but they don't have anyone who is

Sounds like he was trying to proverbially :nutz to Sam Keller.

Sam Keller will show this guy who's going to :nutz to who.

He will witness our D :bonez all night.

Mark my words: By the end of the night, this columnist will be doing -> :corndance

And will invite us all downtown :cheers to become friends with the riders of the next bandwagon he's going to jump on :wasted

For us to have a chance in this game. SC will have to put the ball on the ground.

Sam Keller will not only have to improve ten fold from what we have seen, but he can not throw a single interception.

He had 6 against SC the last time and this is supposed to be Pete's best defense ever.

I am not impressed with either line at this time. Not dogging them, but they played a nobody and a pretty good team. Good against the one, averae at best against the other.

Suh is not the animal some are thinking at this time. He may prove it in the SC game, we will see.

Lucky will have to have a better game than against Wake Forest. We need Cody in there I think. Lucky will get abused by their line backers, as all three are damned near as fast as he is, and they are truly headhunters. I doubt Lucky sees the end of the first half.

Purify is to slow to have much of an effect on SC. Over the middle will give new meaning to bravery after the first completion/drop or interception.

Our best chance is that we have the greatest day we have had under BC. And SC fails to bring their A game. They will not be intimidated by crowd or the play.

My guess is we will see the speed BC is trying to get here. Still not there yet, but we do have a chance, keep it loud and never stop. Louder than Texas last year. But this is a much better team than Texas was last year. Hold on and have a great time. Show the SC fans the respect they deserve no matter if we win or lose.

I still say 20-17 and it could go either way.

I still don't think SC is going to bring perfection to the field on Saturday. If NU capitalizes on their mistakes, I think they can overcome 1, maybe 2 turnovers. Keller should be gunning to make plays instead of playing not to turn it over. He's probably a lot smarter than the last time he played the Trojans, and his offensive system has a much better backfield than ASU ever had. I don't believe we need to play 'mistake-free footbal.'

Great article but I had the score 45 - 10 USC I guess we will see if I will be eating my words come saturday!
are you willing to give 35 points on a $50.00 donation to the winning schools fundraising?

since admitting to a wager on line might be against the rules somewhere

I was impressed with our OL during the Nevada game. However, they looked average at best against Wake and I think we can all agree that USC's front 4 are better than Wake's. Our DL hasn't looked anything but average in either game IMO. I heard someone ragging on the Secondary when Barry Turner made a tackle like 25 yards down the field. My question is why weren't they ragging on the friggin LB's. The LB's were nowhere to be found against Wake.

I think NU can keep the game close because it is at home, but we're gonna have to play some ball that we haven't played in quite some time to win the game. When USC has the ball, the ball is gonna have to hit the turf a lot whether it be fumbles or incomplete passes for us to have a chance. After watching the Wake game though, I just wonder how much they'll actually pass. We might just take a whole lot of our own medicine from 10 years back with USC pounding and pounding the rock against our weaker DL. I mean they have what 6 RB's? I wouldn't be surprised to see them pound, pound, and pound somemore.

I don't think Keller necessarily has to improve 10 fold. I just think he needs to have better protection than he did against Wake. I think we can turn the ball over once without getting manhandled by USC, but 2 or more turnovers will put nails in the coffin. IMO, we will not see our OL or DL dominating USC. I still think the game will be won or lost in the trenches. IMO, the secondary will not lose the game for us. If the game is to be lost, it will be a matter of the DL and LB's getting abused by USC. In order to win on offense, the passing game is gonna have to win it because I just don't see our running game obtaining much unless we've opened it up with the pass. We have enough talent to win the game, but I agree that we have to play our A+ game and USC has to play like they did against Idaho.

Looking at college football so far, I would have to say that I like our chances a lot better against USC than if we were playing against LSU and OU. If USC struggles against us, I really do think they drop to 3rd.
