I remember the days when if the Huskers were playing...

Special Teams Player
a Nevada , Ball State , Kansas or Iowa State type team and destroyed them? growing up in Florida I could still leave , miss the game and feel comfortable knowing that I could come home and check the score to always see a complete blow out. Now days whether we play Ball State , Troy or Texas , I am stuck here in front of the computer , radio or TV every Saturday because the outcome is not near sure as it used to be. Not that I like doing anything more than watching Husker games , but some times if we were playing ISU or Wyoming I could feel comfortable enough to leave to get laid or go off shore fishing and still come back to great news. Now days I wouldnt dare make any other plans. I could win a trip to South America right now and wouldnt go because of the thought of missing the games.

WTH does this have to do with anything?

Did we not destroy Nevada in the 1st week? Refresh my memory.

Living too far above sea level does that. Paranoid thoughts start creeping in. Go fishing, win a free trip that's what DVR's and TIVO are for. :) Reliving the rapture of winning or the agony of DeFeet (if you stood for the whole game) :rollin I was jumping up and down from my sofa and scaring the dogs and neighbors by the way. But if I had gone golfing/paintballing/tuna fishing the game most likely would have been the same.

You missed the point of my post. What is your point? To live in the past? To point out the obvious? To just b!^@h and moan for no apparent reason?

I am old...I remember those days very well. These are different times. More teams are spending more money. They invest higher dollars in their facilities etc etc. I loved the Option..but, it is dead and gone other than variations of it. My point..... college football is more competitive than it use to be.
