Where the F### was the blitz? Booty had all damn day to pick apart out depleted secondary.Give the kids credit. They showed up to play last night. Not something a Cally team usually does very well.

Game plan sucked. Cally played not to lose or get blown out.

I think he was trying to get some sort of pass rush with just the front four. He was using the LBs as for short pass coverage. If he would have blitzed the LBs, it would have left the interior even more open. This coverage is one reason they threw to Jarrett the whole game (other than the reason he is just fricken good). Jarrett was the one area that we just couldn't cover. So, either we blitz and open up receivers, or we don't blitz and and leave it up to our front four. Tough call.

Jarrett had a lot of catches but several of those were the wr screens that USC ran all day. I thought our db's played ok and the D kept us in the game. I was very upset with 2 of their td throws. They were easy passes to their receivers who ran slants. Why the hell weren't the db's playing inside coverage near the goalline or else where was the inside help if they had outside coverage. Those plays sucked but the D hung in there. They gave up some drives and USC seemed to have a large advantage in TOP. I just wish we would have seen that West Coast Offense we have heard so much about.
