Have you tried the Seagrams VO? I used to love 7 until I tried VO...so much smoother, especially if you like to drink it straight.

If I'm in the mood for Irish Whiskey, I go with Powers. I like it better than Jameson.

I don't do anything "straight"...ooops, sorry...wrong thread. :laughpound

And you know, I've never tried Seagrams VO. I'll give it a try the next time I go to the liqour store.

I've heard good things about Maker's Bourbon............anyone ever tried it?

I'm a Maker's fan myself. Nothing like it.

Fighting **** is huge here in SC, mainly because of the SC Gamecock fans. I don't drink it because of they claim it to be their own, but if it's anything like them, I'm sure it goes down easy.

The Maker's Mark Mint Julip blend is the absolute best!! Only comes out for like a month each year right at Derby time, but boy if you can get your hands on a bottle it is well worth it. I have toured the Maker's facility, very cool, old rustic feeling, and very small actually. It is pretty cool tour, you can even buy a souvenir bottle and dip it in the wax.
